Delivery areas

HYBUILT delivers to specific regions within Queensland and New South Wales from our yard at 28 Shettleston Street, Rocklea. We sell to customers outside those states, but we do not deliver outside our delivery regions. If you are outside our regions, contact us and we will talk through pickup or your own freight arrangements.

How freight is priced

We do not publish delivery prices. Freight on retaining wall materials depends on the load size, the distance from our yard, the site access, the vehicle required and whether your load can be shared with another delivery. A published flat rate would be wrong for almost every order.

Send us your material list and the suburb or town the material is going to, and our team will confirm your freight charge along with stock availability before you are asked to pay anything.

Lead times

Standard stock lines are usually delivered within 2 to 3 business days of an order being confirmed and paid. Larger loads, non stock items and deliveries outside South East Queensland may take longer. We will give you a delivery window when we confirm your order.

Site access

Deliveries are made by crane truck or tipper depending on the load. You are responsible for telling us about anything that affects access: narrow streets, low branches, overhead power lines, soft ground, steep driveways, gates and locked sites. Someone over 18 must be on site to direct the placement and to sign for the load.

If a truck arrives and cannot unload safely because of access issues we were not told about, a return trip may be charged.

Placement

Material is placed as close as the truck can safely reach from the kerb or the hardstand. Our drivers do not carry material onto a site by hand, and they do not enter soft ground or areas where they judge the ground will not carry the vehicle.

Pickup

Pickup from the Rocklea yard is available from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Wait for our confirmation email before you come in, bring your order number, and bring a vehicle and restraints rated for the load. Sleepers weigh between 54kg and 87kg each and are a two person lift. Drainage gravel is delivery only.

Fire ant restrictions

Bulk gravel, soil and sand moved within or out of the Queensland fire ant biosecurity zones are subject to movement controls under the Biosecurity Act 2014. We comply with those requirements and we will tell you if they affect your delivery.
