Replacing a wall is a chance to change the layout

Every project is different, which is why we like working directly with homeowners on the make and fit of the materials rather than just taking an order over the counter. At Jan and Mick's home in Wynnum we helped them find the right sleepers to replace their old wall, then extend it so they could build a new planter box off the end of it.

A wall that has reached the end of its life is often a chance to change the layout at the same time. If that is where you are at, tell us what you are working with and we will go through the options.

Whether a wall like any of these needs building approval and an engineered design depends on its height, what sits behind it and your own council's requirements, so confirm your situation with your council or a licensed private building certifier before ordering materials.
