These are the small parts that finish a wall properly. None of them cost much, and leaving them off is what makes a sound wall look average or sends you back to the yard mid job.

Two things that catch people out
The 90 degree post caps come left leaning and right leaning. Check which way your corner turns before you order. It is the single most common mistake on this group.
A fence on top adds load the wall has to carry, including wind load, so it belongs in the wall design rather than being bolted on afterwards. Some councils also treat combined wall and fence height as an approval trigger in its own right. Decide before you order, not after the wall is up. The fence attachment guide covers it, and brackets go on before the top courses of sleepers.
Matching caps to posts
Our standard caps suit the 100 series posts, 100UC14.8 H posts and 100PFC C channel. The heavy duty 150 series is a bigger section and takes a different cap, so ring the yard on (07) 3716 0191 if you are building with those. Posts and corners shows what each cap suits, and if you are unsure which profile you have, send us a photo of the post top.
