HYBUILT's Heavy Duty Galvanised Steel C Channel 150PFC is the heavy duty end post that pairs with our 150UC23 H posts. It is a 150PFC parallel flange channel, hot dip galvanised for long term corrosion resistance in the Queensland climate, and its single sided C profile lets the wall finish neatly at each end, at a step, or hard against a structure. Like the rest of the heavy duty range, it is intended for engineered walls, taller walls and jobs where an engineer has nominated a heavier section.
C channel at the ends, 150UC23 H posts through the middle. Lengths run from 2.0m through to 6.0m so you can match the post to the finished wall height and the pier depth in your design.
The clear opening is the slot your sleeper sits in, and the flange length is how far the sleeper end is held inside the channel.

A 131mm opening takes our 75mm sleepers with substantial packing, and will also take thicker sleepers up to about 120mm. The 75mm flange holds the sleeper end roughly 69mm into the channel, so set your wall out to suit. Compare with the standard 100PFC C post, which has an 86.6mm opening and suits most residential walls.
The weight column matters on this range. Every length needs machine lifting, and the longer posts need a truck that can get close enough to place them.

Heavy duty posts are used on engineered walls. Walls over about 1 metre high commonly need council approval and an engineered design, and approval can also be triggered by loads behind the wall, a slope above it, or the wall sitting close to a building, a boundary or another wall. Thresholds and conditions vary by council across South East Queensland and Northern NSW, so please confirm the requirements with your local council or a building certifier before you start.
