“H” Post Cap

The H post cap closes off the open top of a galvanised steel H post. Left open, the section collects water, leaf litter and dirt, which sits against the steel and works away at the inside of the post where you cannot see it or recoat it. The cap also gives the top of the wall a finished square edge instead of a raw cut section.

Heavy duty posts take a different cap. The 150UC23 section is 152mm across, so this cap will not fit it. If you are building with the 150 series, call us on (07) 3716 0191 and we will sort the right cap for your posts.
One cap per H post, and a C channel cap for each end post. Corner posts take their own 90 degree or 45 degree cap. Caps are cheap and easy to forget on a take-off, which is how walls end up finished except for the post tops. Send us your post count and we will add the right ones.
