“C” Channel Post Cap

The C channel post cap closes off the open top of a galvanised steel C post, the end post in a retaining wall. Left open, the channel collects water, leaf litter and dirt, which sits against the steel and works away at the inside of the section where you cannot see it or recoat it. The cap also gives the end of the wall a finished square edge instead of a raw cut section.

Heavy duty posts take a different cap. The 150PFC section is 150mm deep with a 75mm flange, so this cap will not fit it. If you are building with the 150 series, call us on (07) 3716 0191 and we will sort the right cap for your posts.
Most walls need two C posts, one at each end, so two of these. Every post in between is an H post and takes an H post cap. Corner posts take their own 90 degree or 45 degree cap. Caps are cheap and easy to forget on a take-off, so send us your post count and we will add the right ones.
